Woreda Disaster Risk Profile Validation Workshop
The Southwest Ethiopia Disaster Risk Management Commission conducted a Woreda Disaster Risk Profile Validation Workshop with relevant stakeholders.
The workshop focused on reviewing and validating disaster risk profiles prepared for selected woredas. Participants discussed key hazards, vulnerabilities, exposure and disaster risk information.
The validation process will contribute to strengthening disaster risk reduction planning, preparedness and early warning activities across the region.
The Commission will continue working with stakeholders to improve disaster risk information and support evidence-based disaster risk management.
